About Me
My name is Pi-Yu Wu, but you can call me Peggy. I have a mixed background both in business and analytical fields. Majored in Business Administration for bachelor, and a graduated with honors from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, earning a Master of Business Analytics degree.
In terms of hard skills, as a current data scientist and former machine learning engineer, I am experienced in efficiently handling millions of data using Postgre SQL and Big Query SQL. I also have great data visualization and dashboard building skills using Tableau, hands-on model development experience with Python, and deployment experience with API & DevOps. Furthermore, I have a solid understanding of the ETL process on the Data Engineering side.
Regarding soft skills, I am capable of summarizing complicated technical concepts in business terminology for cross-functional teams and their stakeholders. My personal goal is to ensure that no one falls asleep whenever I pitch.
